Cannabis is a medicinal tool that dates back to prehistoric times. If only we knew the origin of such a beautiful gift from Mother Earth. Our ideas of “pot” have streamed into assumptions, misinterpretations and stigmatic view points that have shaped mindsets into false accusations and even criminal injustices. As our cannabis industry in Washington is shaping itself, hundreds and thousands of consumers are associated with cannabis in some way, shape or form. Whether by consumption, distribution or employment.
My intention with this article is to enhance the idea that cannabis is a medicinal tool that should we respected, used with intention and kept as natural as possible. As leaders of the cannabis destigmatization we have a sole responsibility to generate safe products, expand knowledge and work with others to support the rapidly growing industry in a positive way.
Cannabis use as a medicine dates back to ancient times. Through the process of growing cannabis one is able to take a look into the world of tending to Mother Nature’s gifts of plant life. What an amazing way to connect with the natural occurrences that are constantly shifting on this planet every single day whether we see it or not. Our duty here is to respect this medicinal gift for all of the benefits that it brings. Cannabis production can take on so many forms in our modern world, if only we utilized it as a tool over a money making scheme. Growing with respect for this gift shifts the overall vibration of the plant. Without the life force energy running through the plant and through your own body, one would not be able to enjoy the benefits of it. We have to overlook the escapism and begin respecting our bodies. To inhale a sacred medicine such as cannabis brings us back to an ancient practice of purifying ones being through sacred smoke. Through the smoke your thought, prayers and intentions are sent to our great creator to be nurtured and cultivated with love and guidance. Through the gift of cannabis we have a tool to connect with our sense of purpose and creation in a respectful way that instills self-love and interconnectedness.
Through intention we are able to shape our realities and choices. Every thought is pushed by the force of intention, the energy in which brings those thoughts to our reality. Cannabis cultivation and utilization are only beneficial through the power of intention. Through intention we amplify the potential within the sacred medicine. The intention of love and gratitude are very high vibrational. When cannabis is cultivated, ingested and used for production its energetic vibration is flowing through your being with every breath. We can use this to our benefit. Through positive intention we can ignite the highest potential of the plant to promote healing, health benefits and it being a valued product. When our cannabis is radiating with positive vibration our ability to connect with the body, sense of self and the world are heightened. I’ve even heard that if a plant has undergone massive pesticide treatments the power of intention and cultivating with love can clean up an entire grow. Energy is powerful, cannabis is powerful; why haven’t we thought to put the two together for our benefit?
Of course not every grower in Washington State has the luxury of producing 100% organic cannabis because of 502 regulations that limit what you are able to use within a grow for nutrient and pesticides. And not everyone likes outdoor cannabis so how can we keep the industry as natural as possible? I think it comes down to integrity and proper handling. If you leave a plant growing in nature it will do one of two things; survive and prosper or die. If that plant survives it has every genius code of DNA within its cell structure to keep itself growing and thriving under its current circumstances. It’s a weed for Pete’s sake. Mother Nature has every single thing we could ever need, and every single thing knows exactly what it has to do to stay alive and regenerate. Cannabis is an extremely tolerable plant that can withstand incredible circumstances. It is heart driven and a valuable asset to our human structures and ability to cultivate living in unity with our bountiful Earth.
When we look at this plant we must come to realize the true benefit, and that is, cannabis is an essential part of human development, survival and ascension. Through the changing times I truly hope we can come to a balance of greed and well being. This sacred medicine has the opportunity to express itself and man has come knocking once again to corrupt the magical life within creations expression of self. I hope that through this you are able to look at cannabis with a more well rounded perception that orchestrates the remembrance of our truth coinciding with cannabis.
