Everyday starts with a choice. To trust that all will work out accordingly or to control the outcome. Being in Hawaii has taught me to release control of the mental grasps that confined me to an internal prison of unacceptance. Waking with the sound of tropical birds shows me to communicate with my surroundings. To feel the essence of all living things and to maneuver with the day. We as humans get so caught up in trying to maximize the value of each moment in return falling short to a plethora of expectations. When we feel that our universe is not responding to us maybe we could ask ourselves, how am I not listening to it, or how am I communicating my needs and desires.

Island time slows you down to embrace each moment. From the way a cool breeze catches the trees and sends leaves dancing. From the flowers stretching to bloom in compassion for our ability to see. I am humbled by the return of my senses. Basking in the ambience of bliss fills my cells with an experience of surrender. Surrender to the weavings of all living things and their story.

Our unique way of making choices in this world is aligned to how we view our circumstances. So with each day comes an opportunity to bask in gratitude and perseverance. Our society has established a way of living that counteracts the efforts that we’ve put into surviving and living in actuality. So when faced with the choice, will you opt into regret of failed expectations or will you feast on the plentiful plate of opportunity?

Perspective teaches me many things;

1. We are all experiencing the world through a lens to which another may be unable to see through. Our authentic voice is the true realm of awareness for others views and how to communicate through disagreement.

2. What works for someone may not work for you. Keep trying.

3. If you have a bandana over your eyes and you have a glimpse of light, would you try to peak through the cracks or would you utilize your other senses to create a way of strengthening your abilities as a human?

4. Someones sunny day could be anothers worst day, when we open to compassion we take away the egoic principle of jealousy and greed. Thus opening the gateway of connection through explanation in authenticity.

5. We dont have the entire picture ever, what we see is surface level to the divine plan in which creator sets ahead for us. Our road blocks create a path in the brain for problem solving and strength. Utilizing intuition to guide you into harmony with your surroundings allows us to activate our full potential.

I see people connecting deeper more and more each day. From each corner of the world comes people who have lived experiences that shaped them to be in this exact spot now. I see the divinity in all living things and occurances. My heart stretches in gratitude as I am transported to memories or interconnectedness between all living things.

It starts with perspective and ends with choice and action. When your day has unfolded before your eyes, what will you choose to keep the message of spirit alive?
